Cardboard and Imagination Day of Play

Hosted by Whittier Time Bank.

The Whittier Time Bank is co-hosting a Global Day of Play event with Whittier Backyard Farms at Strub Avenue Farm & Garden on Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. We are excited to be a part of the cardboard and imagination movement...right here in our own neighborhood! We will supply cardboard and tape...please bring markers to share.

And, plan to take or leave free yard sale items at the Free Market booth. Everything at the Free Market is free!

What's the Cardboard Challenge?

The Imagination Foundation is launching the first annual Global Cardboard Challenge, inviting the world to play while raising funds to foster creativity and entrepreneurship in kids.  

Start now to organize and build, then on October 6th (the one-year anniversary of the flashmob that came out to make Caine’s day), friends, family, co-workers and community members can come out to play at local events, celebrating the creativity and imagination of kids around the world!
